The BSAVED® Valvulotome by Koven was designed by a vascular surgeon to maximize the safety and efficiency of valvulotomy procedures. The innovative design allows the surgeon to maintain control by adjusting the blade diameter while inside the vessel. This feature effectively minimizes risk to the vein wall and assures that valves are cut cleanly.

The single-handed blade deployment locks the blades into position for stationary precise deployment and more exact diameter. Blades can be expanded or contracted with the simple turn of a dial.

The unique fin design minimizes trauma by ensuring that blades do not come in contact with the vein wall and ensures that valves are cut cleanly by allowing the valves to close completely before contact with the blades.
